Named for the official bird of Georgia, Thrash took the NHL by storm on Oct. 2, 1999 by breaking the record for the longest in-arena aerial flight on the Thrashers' Opening Night! Since hatching at Zoo Atlanta, Thrash has flown all over Atlanta to participate in birthday parties, festivals, hospital visits, charity events and his favorite nesting place - games at Philips Arena!

Thrash is feared by his enemies and loved by Atlanta fans. Watch for Thrash's special entrance prior to Thrashers games at Philips Arena and make some noise, or you could be mistaken for a Panther or a Penguin and become Thrash's next victim!
