The Atlanta Thrashers Fan Club was created by fans of the Atlanta Thrashers and is governed and operated by the fans. Every member in the club has a voice in every activity and decision made within the club. All activities, events & any other club functions will be presented to each and every member of the club to be voted & decided upon. All ideas will be posted on the website to allow all members access to all aspects within the club.
The Atlanta Thrashers Fan Club is a strictly not for profit fan club. All Officers, Board Members & Committee Chairs are volunteer fan members & DO NOT receive any monetary compensation for their time. All Officers, Board Members, Committee Chairs & Club Members are required to pay annual membership dues.
All membership dues go straight to the operating costs, non-profit license and events for all club members. Monetary ledgers & expense receipts will be recorded as required by law for the non-profit license & tax exempt status. These ledgers will be available for review at each monthly meeting of the club.
Funds raised for charity will be kept on a separate ledger with the name of the charity that funds are awarded to along with the amount donated. These ledgers will be available for review at each monthly meeting of the club.
